Emilie Clepper is a musician, poet and songwriter born in Quebec, Canada. Her father, a native Texan singer-songwriter, is her primary musical influence. A citizen of both the United States and Canada, Emilie has performed in major festivals in both countries (Montreal Jazz festival, South by Southwest, Lasso Montreal, Kerrville Folk Festival, etc). In Canada, Clepper’s work in theatre, dance and poetry has garnered praise through the years. In 2024, Emilie was nominated for artist of the Year in Chaudieres-Appalaches by the CALQ and her latest album was nominated for Country Album of the Year by the G.A.M.I.Q. Her voice can be soft and compelling or strong and piercing. Her songs range from two-stepping honky tonk barn burners to heart wrenching ballads.
